          Amentum is seeking a Human Resource Assistant (temporary and remote) to support our Test, Training and Operations programs. These programs are located internationally and domestically in the United States. The selected candidates will provide clerical, administrative, and technical support to the Human Resources function. He/she will report to the Sr. HR Manager and work under general supervision. Duties and responsibilities listed below are not mutually exclusive.

          The estimated duration of this role is twelve (12) weeks. While this is a remote position, candidates must reside in the contiguous United States (Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific Time Zones).

          Essential Responsibilities:

          • Welcome new hires by coordinating onboarding, preparing documentation, communicating with stakeholders, updating HRIS systems and conducting virtual new hire orientation.
          • Process new hires, transfers, promotion, compensation changes, leave status, reclassifications and terminations using Workday and Ev6 HRIS systems.
          • Respond to general HR questions from employees and leaders.
          • Liaison between Program leaders and Corporate Support Functions to resolve pay or benefit issues.
          • Ensure compliance by maintaining accurate employee records and updating HRIS systems in a timely manner.
          • Provide reports from HRIS systems to leaders as needed.
          • Schedules post-employment Drug and Alcohol testing

          Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

          • High School diploma or equivalent training/relative experience (3 yrs).
          • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
          • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
          • Working knowledge with MS Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel as well as Workday or Ev5/Ev6 HRIS systems.

          Preferred:

          • Previous USG contracting experience supporting multiple locations, programs as well as International Human Resources
          • Preferred experience with both, Workday and Ev5

          Compensation:

          The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour. (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
