Job Overview:
The HR Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department by managing key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. This role requires someone who has a solid understanding of US labor laws and best practices, and who is ready to collaborate with our leadership team to drive employee success and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job postings and screening,
- Oversee onboarding and employee orientation programs
- Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with US labor laws
- Provide support for performance management, including conducting evaluations and addressing employee concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Ensure company policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and support a positive work culture
- Collaborate with managers to address HR-related needs and challenges
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an HR role, preferably within a US-based company
- Payroll Administrator, according to IRS and Department of Labor (DOL) standards
- In-depth knowledge of US labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with HR software and tools
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with remote team management
