Data Entry Specialist

Rate: $24/hour

Location: San Dimas, CA (Remote)- MUST LIVE IN CA TO PICKUP EQUIPMENT

Working hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to provide administrative and document processing support to our office and billing team. This role is focused on high-volume data entry, document handling, and quality control. The position is strictly support-based and does not include billing responsibilities or financial processing duties.

This is a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and efficiency, including extended periods of computer-based work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to billing staff and general office operations
  • Prepare, review, organize, and manage over 1,000 electronic documents per month
  • Upload and download large volumes of electronic files daily, ensuring file accuracy and integrity
  • Perform high-volume data entry into internal databases with strong attention to detail
  • Review documents containing billing-related information for accuracy and typographical errors (no billing processing involved)
  • Conduct error checking on Authorization forms and related documentation
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper document organization and filing
  • Distribute important documents to appropriate departments in a timely manner
  • Transcribe meeting minutes and maintain accurate records of staff meetings
  • Handle email and phone inquiries professionally and direct communications as needed
  • Collaborate with staff across departments to support smooth office operations
  • Resolve routine administrative issues and escalate when necessary
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Intermediate Excel knowledge (formulas, data entry, calculations) Required
  • At least 1 year of data entry experience
  • Ability to follow structured procedures and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable handling feedback, learning quickly, and improving accuracy over time
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM and accurate 10-key skills
  • Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload)
  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED required
