Job Title: Storekeeper
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
*Receive, inspect, and properly store materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment for railway operations and maintenance.
*Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts to ensure availability and prevent shortages.
*Issue materials and equipment to maintenance, operations, and project teams in a timely manner.
*Organize store layout for efficient space utilization and easy retrieval of items.
*Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors when replenishment is required.
*Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in the store.
*Prepare regular reports on stock levels, movements, and discrepancies.
*Support audits, inspections, and implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP).
REQUIREMENTS:
*Bachelor of Science or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
*3–5 years hands-on experience in stores or warehouse operations.
*Proficient in inventory management, stock control, and record-keeping.
*Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP/WMS systems).
*Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
*Experience handling technical materials, spare parts, or heavy equipment is an advantage.
